Abroenet were tasked with getting the wheels rolling for a major renovation of the façade, balcony and adjacent internal living space. Abroenet worked alongside Greater Glass, and were engaged to carry out the structural changes, including the removal of an existing aluminium balcony feature, as well as the removal and reconfiguration of the 5m high glass facade.
This involved both a minor roof extension and repairs and alterations to curved structural steel. Additionally, new curved ceiling linings, the removal of the outdoor spa and retiling to the balcony were necessary changes that were undertaken whilst coordinating the facade glazing works.
Due to the damage caused internally by existing water leaks, Abroenet actioned the removal of the kitchen, laundry, dining and lounge area, readying the area for the client’s finishes team. The finished team carried out the installation of the new flooring, kitchen and laundry joinery – all designed by award winning local interior designers and drafters – McRae and Lynch Interiors. This penthouse upgrade was finished off with a new paint job throughout, setting the owner up with a maintenance free home to enjoy.
Big thanks to Pro Image Electrical, Ben Wright Plumbing, Hinton Linings and O’Malley’s Painting Services for a job well done.
Thank you Luke, Adam, and the team at Abroenet Constructions. I can’t say enough about your professionalism from our very first site visit meeting through to now. You have made this renovation so easy for us. You have certainly taken all the stress out of our build. I will never again listen to friends or people moaning about the stress of their renovations or builds – My answer will simply be – ‘You chose the wrong builder!’
